Readings on Augmented Reality

Hello!

Here are a few links to articles about AR, not very long articles, but they give a rough summary of what AR is and the timeline of AR.

5 Misconceptions of AR:

AR Milestones in 2016:

Infographic Timeline of AR:

Mainly I suppose to get everyone thinking about how this stuff is all around us. I don't think I realized that it's been around as long as it has been. So I think it could be an interesting read!

Leftovers

Our show was a success! I had the pleasure of talking to many people about my work, and everyone who stopped by had nothing but great things to say about our show.

It was a unique learning experience to put together this show for a gallery, and I'm glad I had this opportunity. There are some things I will keep in mind for next time, and I've learned some tips on what works and other factors to consider when putting together an exhibition.

Moving on, I'm organizing my thoughts and gathering what I've done in seminar so I can create my process book.

Adding color

I've started to add color to these overlapped patterns. I really like the outcome. I might try other colors eventually. So far I only have red, blue, and green typewriter ribbons to work with.

Thumbnail Index

Here are the first 160 images from Album 1, in a numbered grid that could relate to an index. The numbering is weird and goes vertically, I'm still trying to figure that out.

A Few AR Tests

Currently this is just a text post letting you know that I have been testing with AR. I can show the work in class, and will take a video of it later and upload it on here to look back at.

So far just little tests, I had a bit of difficulty on one of them and that isn't working currently. Waiting to hear back from tech support on one of them (since it's in an online class on Coursera)

Taming Senteces

( a short exercise of diagramming which I started on x-mas and continue to painstakingly push forward)
